From our practice
Neighbour dispute
A neighbour moved the fence a metre onto our client's land and refused to discuss it. The strip itself was worth little, but the precedent for the whole plot was not. We filed a claim and reached a settlement that resolved both the boundary and the access road. Without legal action, the dispute would have dragged on for years.
Lease
The tenant paid regularly but always CZK 2,000 short, citing defects in the flat. The landlord wanted to terminate straight away. We advised that partial payment did not justify termination and proposed a formal demand with a reasonable deadline instead. The tenant cleared the arrears within 3 weeks.
