# When government decides
about your business

Building authority stopped your project? Regulator imposed a fine? Administrative proceedings have strict rules and short deadlines. We help you meet them — and defend your interests.

Typical situations

## Recognise your case?

### The building authority stopped your project

You had a permit, but the authority suspended or revoked it. Construction is halted and every day costs you money.

### You received a fine you disagree with

A regulator or authority imposed a penalty. You consider it disproportionate or unjustified.

### Your licence or permit is at risk

The authority has started proceedings to revoke your licence. Without it, you can't operate.

### A dispute with the tax authority

The tax office reassessed your tax, launched an audit or issued an assessment you disagree with.

### Environmental regulations are affecting your business

New environmental rules impact your operations. You need to understand what you must comply with.

### You want to challenge a public procurement decision

Someone else won the contract and you have doubts about whether the tender process was fair.

### The authority refused to provide information

You filed a freedom-of-information request and the authority is silent or refused. You have the right to appeal.

### Expropriation or restriction of property rights

The state or municipality wants part of your land for public interest. You're negotiating fair compensation.

Regulatory fines and sanctions

Administrative lawsuits and cassation appeals

Misdemeanour proceedings

In administrative law, details and deadlines decide outcomes. A missed deadline means a lost right — so we act fast.

Process

## How we work

 01

### Decision analysis

We study the administrative decision, verify compliance with procedural rules and assess the chances of a successful challenge.

 02

### Preparing the appeal

We draft the appeal, objection or administrative lawsuit. In administrative law, the quality of argument — and meeting deadlines — is critical.

 03

### Representation

We represent you before administrative bodies and courts. We communicate with authorities professionally and efficiently.

From our practice

## Decision moments

Building permit

### Can a building authority halt a project over a late neighbour objection?

A developer held a valid building permit and had begun construction. A neighbour filed an objection 3 days past the deadline — yet the building authority suspended proceedings anyway. We appealed, emphasising the lapse of the objection right. The regional authority ruled in our favour within 6 weeks and construction resumed.

Regulatory fine

### Is a CZK 2 million fine for an administrative lapse proportionate?

The company received a fine from the Czech National Bank for late reporting — not fraud, but a procedural error. The fine was set without regard to corrective measures the firm had already taken. We achieved a reduction to one-third of the original amount.
