This fee schedule takes effect on 1 September 2026; the existing rates apply until 31 August 2026. ## Hourly rates Hourly rates (excluding VAT) Category Rate / hour Strategic advisory — negotiating complex transactions, leading negotiations with the other side, preparing and conducting witness examinations, restructuring shareholder relationships, crisis situations, high-stakes disputes, disputes and transactions worth more than CZK 500,000 or bearing on key relationships or reputation, complex cross-border cases CZK 4,900 Standard rate — the firm's attorneys, partners included CZK 3,900 Trainee attorneys and other lawyers on the team ; we bill the work of legal interns at the same rate — their output is always reviewed by an attorney, who is answerable to the client for it CZK 2,900 Minimum fee for a new case or standalone task: CZK 5,000. We bill in increments of 15 minutes commenced. For attendance at a meeting or hearing away from our offices (court, opposing party) we always charge a minimum of 4 hours of work. We assign matters to the most junior tier of the team able to handle them to the required standard; if the client asks for a particular team member, that person's rate applies. Where a matter moves up to greater seniority, the usable work done so far is billed at the rate of whoever performed it. Who worked on the matter, and at what rate, is always visible in your fee statement. Discounts are granted by express agreement, as a percentage of the rate that would otherwise apply or of the fixed fee (for example 15% off CZK 3,900 = CZK 3,315 + VAT per hour) — for a single task, an entire case, or as a standing arrangement until revoked. Uplifts and the three-times cap are calculated from the post-discount rate; compensation items and out-of-pocket expenses are unaffected by a discount. ## Uplifts for expedited and demanding work **Deadline uplift** — determined as at the moment of instruction, applies to the whole task: Deadline uplift Deadline Uplift Completion within 48 hours of instruction +50% Completion within 24 hours / on the day of instruction +100% **Time of work** — applies to the hours actually worked within the band (bands are not cumulative; the highest one applies): Time of work Band Uplift Weekday evening (18:00–22:00) +50% Weekend / public holiday (07:00–22:00) +65% Night (22:00–07:00, any day) +175% **Complexity** — several jurisdictions involved, extensive data or materials, technical complexity: +25–50%. The components are cumulative with each other and with the complexity uplift; the total rate will not exceed three times the rate that would otherwise apply — anything higher only by express prior agreement. Work also counts as expedited where materials are handed over fewer than 5 working days before a deadline expires, and where it is carried out at night. If you would prefer a brief email summary, or conversely an exhaustive analysis of every conceivable risk, say so when giving instructions; the scope is reflected in the price. ## Other fee arrangements **Fixed fee** — a set price agreed in advance for a defined service: standard contracts, filings, commercial register entries, legal analyses, assessing the enforceability of a portfolio of receivables, escrow. For larger engagements (analysis + contract documentation + related deliverables) we offer a fixed price for the whole package; an agreed fixed price prevails over the hourly rate and over uplifts. **Success fee** — for monetary claims, typically 20–25% of the amount recovered. **Retainer** — for long-term clients with regular volume; guaranteed priority and individually agreed terms.
